The PBA in partnership with the Impact Training Institute (ITI) is proud to announce the delivery of the Green Skills Environmental Sustainability Learning Program.

This training is available to local businesses and will help your businesses become more socially and environmentally responsible.

Bijai Kumar, CEO of the Penrith Business Alliance said “The environment is top of mind for most Australians; customers want green products and will prefer to deal with organisations that are implementing environmentally sustainable practices. Consumer’s expectations of the responsibilities of business towards the environment have dramatically changed.

Training like the program we are delivering is the best way businesses can set good examples in this regard”.

Kumar added “If you don’t pay attention to your organisations environmental impact/obligations you risk your reputation with all key stakeholders including state and federal government regulators. Ignoring your environmental obligations can place your business in jeopardy. Develop environmental best practices and train your staff to follow your organisational policies and procedures. This is the only way forward leading to a profitable and sustainable future”.

There is a nominal cost per person of $100 with the remainder of the training costs covered by Government funding that will be secured by the PBAs training provider, ITI.
