About Us
The Penrith Business Alliance was reconstituted by Penrith City Council in December 2008, following the previous economic entity that existed from 2003.
The Penrith Business Alliance is lead by an independent and largely private sector Board of Directors that aims to achieve the City’s economic objectives through to 2031.
Most important is the objective of achieving the City’s job target of 40,000 additional jobs in the local economy by 2031. The PBA recognises that achieving this objective will require continual restructuring and strengthening of the City’s industry and labour market.
The Penrith Business Alliance leads and facilitates projects that will ensure the local economy continues to grow, employ more residents and become increasingly competitive.
The Penrith Business Alliance’s Mission is:
“To promote sustainable economic growth for Penrith as a Regional City through innovation, strategic alliances, enterprise development and investment.”
