70 More Jobs at new AMF Ten-pin Bowling Centre

Batt Street Jamisontown will soon be home to a new AMF ten-pin bowling centre.

Sydney West Constructions, a family-owned business based in Penrith and anchor tenant for the project, have actively supported jobs in the local area and source over 80% of their contractors from the local region. The new Centre is expected to create 70 new jobs.

ZOKOKO Employs 3 – looking for “Chocolate Trainee”

Established in 2007, Zokoko is a multi award-winning ‘bean to bar’ artisan chocolate maker based in Emu Heights.

Zokoko owner Michelle Morgan makes the chocolate from scratch, working directly with cacao growers the world over to import the finest quality beans and uses vintage, artisan equipment and traditional methods to roast, grind, refine and temper chocolate in small batches.

Since its launch Zokoko has grown to approximately 10 employees covering chocolate making, sales, marketing and administration. Zokoko has recently filled one part-time and two full-time positions and is looking to expand the team further, seeking a full-time Chocolate Trainee.

Zokoko targets to two key market segments; retail sales at its Emu Heights café and other high-end establishments and wholesale sales to food industry professionals.

.

The Zokoko range includes single origin chocolate, dark chocolate and milk chocolate blends as well as organic cocoa powder, cocoa nibs and drinking chocolate.

.

At the Emu Heights store guests can observe the chocolate making process as well as taste the bars and an assortment of delicate hand-made truffles including Raspberry Balsamico, Tonka Bean, Whisky Liquor, Lemon Waffle and delicious Honey Bears.

Fusion, St Marys, Community and Youth Centre

Formerly St Marys Lawn Bowls Club, Fusion Community and Youth Centre includes a vintage clothing shop, art programs, parenting courses, art gallery and cafe, mentoring, digital radio broadcasting studio, training kitchen, community vegetable garden and office space for 100 staff and volunteers.

Fusion employ around 40 people. They are a Christian non-profit organisation.

The Principal Fernando Lemos has over 20 years financial services experience from working with Large corporates in International Finance, Financial Institution integrations through to previously owning Wizard Home Loans St Marys.

Established in 2007, Yellow Brick Road is owned by Mark Bouris and several members of the senior management team. Mark was the founder and chairman of Wizard Home Loans, which grew to be one of the largest non bank lenders in Australia.  Mark’s purpose in establishing Yellow Brick Road was to help all Australians access the quality financial advice they deserve.
